Teach Out- MPAS

In the event the Chamberlain Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree program (MPAS) is closed or has its accreditation withdrawn, the following procedures will apply:

  • Recruitment of students will cease.
  • Prospective Students who have been offered admission and not yet matriculated will be informed of the program closure and given a full refund of their deposits.
  • Currently Enrolled Students will be informed of program closure and will be given the opportunity to complete the program on a full-time basis. The program of study will be provided the necessary resources and support to provide student educational experiences, curricular structure and schedule of courses as published. Teach out will occur with sufficient faculty and meet all educational standards consistent with Accreditation Review Commission on Education of the Physician Assistant, Inc. (ARC-PA) and HLC. The program will continue to meet the published mission, core goals and program competencies as published. The program will continue to be provided at the published tuition and cost if the institution conducts the teach out without involving another entity; if another entity is involved, the program will notify students of any additional program charges.

High priority will be given to assisting students in completing the course of study. Students seeking to transfer to another institution will be supported.
