Academic Integrity Teachable Moments
Integrity Matters at Chamberlain University and is an educational objective we take very seriously. Students are expected to conduct themselves in an ethical and professional manner. Based on respect for individual academic achievement, each student and faculty member commit to being a part of a community of scholarship that prides itself on honesty and integrity.
If the student is able to present satisfactory information to adequately explain an identified concern, the reported concern may be dismissed. A Teachable Moment, which includes guidance and/or resources to mitigate behaviors that could be interpreted as or lead to a violation of the Academic Integrity Policy, may be rendered by the instructor or designee. A teachable moment is not a sanction and not subject to appeal.
