Degree Programs & Program Options
Committed to academic excellence, student success and lifetime learning
We’re one University focused on the transformation of healthcare by educating extraordinary healthcare professionals through two colleges: the College of Nursing and the College of Health Professions. Our degree programs have been developed to address the personal and professional needs of healthcare professionals, meet the skill and staffing needs of the industry and transform healthcare delivery as a whole for the public at large. See the Degree Programs - College of Nursing and Degree Programs - College of Health Professions for more information.
- Focus/Elective Options: Students can select 3-6 semester credits of electives, providing them the flexibility to explore additional topics outside of the core curriculum and broaden their knowledge.
- Concentrations: These options, typically ranging from 7-17 semester credits, allow students to gain specialized knowledge in a specific area within their program, offering a deeper focus without fully committing to a track.
- Minors: These options, ranging from 12-18 semester credits, allow students to gain specialized knowledge beyond their specific degree program that will enhance their scope of knowledge and add to their expertise in their selected field.
- Tracks: The most extensive specialization, tracks require students to complete 18 or more semester credits beyond the core curriculum. This commitment provides an in-depth education in a particular field of nursing. The College of Health Professions follows a similar approach, with specializations ranging from 9-19+ semester credits beyond the core.
